Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for optimizing sales processes, enhancing market
strategies, and driving overall commercial performance within an organization while partnering with
Business unit managers.

Key Responsibilities


Strategy Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with business
goals, focusing on maximizing return on investment (ROI) and enhancing competitiveness in the
market.

Sales Process Optimization: Design and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and
effectiveness, ensuring alignment with market demands and scalability for future growth.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track sales performance metrics, market
trends, and customer feedback, providing insights that inform decision-making and drive
improvements in sales strategies.

Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing,
product management, and sales, to ensure cohesive execution of commercial initiatives and
support sales teams through coaching and training.

Market Assessment: Conduct thorough market data analysis to set revenue targets and prioritize
product development based on client needs and market opportunities.

CRM Administration: Act as an administrator for Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
systems, ensuring effective use and continuous improvement of these tools to support sales
efforts.

Measurement/KPIs

  • CRM management & Accuracy
  • Budget process and forecasting process delivered on time & accurate
  • Sales Performance (revenue, margin, …)


Qualifications/Experience


  • Educational Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is
typically required. (MBA)
  • Experience: Several years of experience in sales, strategy, or project management, with a proven
track record of driving commercial initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools to extract actionable insights
from complex datasets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster
relationships across various teams and present ideas effectively.
  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead projects and initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence
and continuous improvement within the organization.
