Position Overview
We are in search of a talented Marketing Insights & Analytics Manager to join our market research team and to be based in Paris, France, reporting to the EMEA Head of Market Research. This role is responsible for all primary and secondary market research across multiple therapy areas e.g., hematology, oncology, immunology and neuroscience, synthesizing insights that will influence the brand teams' strategic and tactical decisions. The candidate will join a dynamic, close-knit team of experienced market researchers who are passionate about insight generation and supporting the brand teams to create impactful change for healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing & Analytics Manager, France
Collaborate with the regional business intelligence team to design and continuously update market research plans that align with business objectives, balancing methodologies, timelines, and costs.
Proactively consults with teams on business issues and transform business needs into actionable market research objectives, employing appropriate primary research methodologies to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Be responsible for the execution of qualitative and quantitative primary market research ensuring compliance and make sure adherence to relevant codes of practice, guidelines, and SOPs among suppliers.
Employ analytical thinking to navigate large data sets, analyze market research data, providing strategic recommendations that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
Present insights and market research findings to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, ensuring that critical marketplace insights have impact and shape business strategies.
Oversee vendor relationships in collaboration with EMEA MR Hub, ensuring high-quality deliverables while monitoring budgets and supplier engagements.
Educate and coach local operating company colleagues on effective research strategies that address key strategic brand questions.
Identify and use robust secondary research sources to bridge knowledge gaps and improve market understanding.
Use generative AI to increase effectiveness and efficiency in all steps of the market research process.
Actively participate as a member of the EMEA MR Hub, collaborating cross-functionally to drive market research excellence within the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; an MBA or advanced degree is helpful.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant market research experience, with 2-4 years in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Background in marketing, biology, data sciences, finance, or pharmacy is a plus.
Experience in primary market research within the pharmaceutical sector is crucial.
Strong preference for candidates with business analytics expertise and secondary pharmaceutical data experience.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
A good understanding of the product development process (from NME declaration through launch) is preferred.
Capability to devise and implement innovative insight-generation approaches.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and presentation skills,
A curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement through enhanced skills and knowledge.
Fluent in French and good spoken and written English is a requirement for this position.
Based in Paris, France with limited travel as part of this position.
