Your role
Senior Fragrance Development Manager (FDM) for Fabric Care
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and interpret client briefs (local and global), translating marketing and consumer needs into clear olfactive directions.
- Select and evaluate fragrances, working closely with perfumers, laboratories, and marketing teams to propose the most relevant and performing solutions.
- Lead and coordinate international projects, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural context.
- Follow up on and challenge creations and reformulations, ensuring product performance, differentiation, and feasibility.
- Analyze consumer test results and sensory data, in collaboration with Marketing and Consumer Insights teams, to refine fragrance recommendations.
- Develop creative fragrance directions for proactive marketing presentations or strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to and enrich the fragrance library, capitalizing on project learnings and market feedback.
- Clearly convey the olfactive concept to internal and external stakeholders.
About you
- Master in chemistry, fragrance
- 8-10 years experience minimum in fragrance development, evaluation
- Proven experience in Fabric Care category
- Proven experience in international environments or global projects is essential
- Strong olfactive culture, sense of detail, and ability to assess fragrance performance
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage consumer test and sensory data to guide fragrance strategy
- Excellent coordination and project management skills, with cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Energetic, driven personality – comfortable challenging perfumers, clients, and stakeholders constructively
- Proficient in project management tools, fragrance databases, and fragrance-related software
- Fluent French & English, German will be an advantage
