We are continuing to expand our well established presence across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a strategic Senior European Client Relationship Manager to further drive and nurture this growth.
Position Overview
As our Senior European Client Relationship Manager, you will drive our sales strategy across the European landscape. You'll be instrumental in both acquiring new clients and fortifying bonds with our established customer base. A key aspect of this role is adopting a consultative approach to effectively ascertain the distinct requirements of a broad spectrum of clients, from leading universities and research institutions to pharmaceutical and biotech, as well as public sector entities, ultimately delivering solutions that bring substantial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new business development and sales strategy execution across Europe.
- Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities in target regions and verticals.
- Build strong relationships with C-level decision-makers and procurement teams
- Act as a key liaison between the client and internal company teams, ensuring seamless communication and solution delivery
- Conduct software demos, facilitate client discovery sessions to understand their unique needs, provide guidance to ensure successful adoption and usage of our platform
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client site visits.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and records in the CRM.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, regional trends, and competitive activity.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of sales experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Proven success in selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the European sales landscape, including regulatory, cultural, and contractual nuances.
- Scientific background is a plus.
- Experience with academic institutions, public sector clients, or research organizations is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional European languages are appreciated.
- Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Must have the right to work in the EU
- Able to travel frequently
